**This article assumes you have a Facebook account.
So you’ve heard of the ULS Boards and are wondering what exactly are they. They have been setup to bring all ULS schools together to enhance communication. Best of all, any one can register and can begin posting threads. Your next question might be, “Well how do I register?”. That is a pretty common question and if you continue reading, you will learn how to register and be on your way.
First you need to go to the site. To avoid the run around, here is the direct link http://unitedlatinostudents.org/forum/forum.php. You can also click on the button named “Forums” on the menu bar on top.
Once you are on there, on the upper right hand corner you will see a Facebook Connect button, go ahead and click on that.

After you click on that, depending on whether you are logged into Facebook already, it’ll either ask for your login and password or for permission to access it. Please note: I do not store any of this information. This data never goes through ULS’s servers. The only thing we retrieve once you grant permission is your name, birthday, and picture.
Now go ahead and log in/grant access.

After you go through that process, you will be presented with a web form where you can enter various information. The red highlighted area will display your current Facebook default picture. The yellow highlighted area is where you should enter the name by which you’d like to be known by on these boards (keep it professional!). The blue highlighted area is where you will enter your password. Follow the on-screen directions on the requirements of the password. Lastly, the red highlighted area is where you should enter an email address that you check often.

When your all done, scroll down and check the “I have read…” box (highlighted in yellow). Next and finally, click on “Complete Registration” (highlighted in green).

If your successful, you will be presented with this screen. Click on “Forums” (highlighted in yellow) and you will be redirected to the forums homepage. Happy posting!
